European Court of Human Rights IGNORES Election Outcome with DUBIOUS "Foreign Interference" Claim 

European Rights Court Refuses to Halt Annulment of Romanian Election | Balkan Insight

The ECHR has ruled against our glorious president Calin Georgescu's appeal to stop the Romanian Constitutional Court's decision to overturn the November presidential elections that he won. The consititutional court ordered a re-run, citing 'interference' from a foreign country, likely Russia.

The ECHR washed its hands of the matter supposedly because this question on voting falls outside of the court's responsibilities of "human rights."

Georgescu has made waves for his eastern orientation, favoring Russia over NATO in foreign relations. His continued presidency would likely reduce support for the war in Ukraine.

The re-run elections will occur on May 4th, with Georgescu currently leading in the polls. Balkan insight questions the credibility of these polls because it is unthinkable that the people withold support from NATO.
