ANGLO-SAXON newspaper SLANDERS Romania, classifies country as “Hybrid Regime”
Following the decision by the Constitutional Court to annul the results of the most recent elections, the western newspaper “The Economist” declared that Romania is a no longer a flawed democracy and now is a hybrid regime. A “hybrid regime” is generally considered to be a government system which combines elements of authoritarianism and electoral politics.

The Constitutional Court annulled the results of the elections on the grounds of alleged Russian interference, a dubious social media campaign, and campaign finance violations.
