Moldva would COLLAPSE without Romanian Energy
Moldova has decided to continue purhcasing electricity from Romania, instead of the initial plan of providing gas in exchange for that electricity. Moldovan PM Dorin Recean said this arrangement was the most agreeable to all parties, and the most advantageous eceonomically in the long run.
Moldova will be provided with 64 million euros by the EU to prop up their failing country on purchased Romanian electricity. 20 million will purchase natural gas for Transistria, and 10 million will purchase electricity for the right bank of the Dniester river. Romania continues to embarass its neighbors with a strong, independent and flourishing economy.
