Romanian President Living LAVISH, LUXURIOUS Lifestyle at Expense of IMPOVERISHED Taxpayers
The Romanian administration spent 28.49 million RON (5.7 million Euros) on foreign travel in 2024. The president Klaus Iohannis made 34 little trips in 2023, costing 41 million RON. He has multiplied the expenditure of the presidential administration FOUR times over during his terms as president.
Parliament has cut his superfluous spending a bit with a 2025 budget of 17.27 million RON. This will likely upset the president by removing his annual ski resort week from the schedule.
